The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 will be the 13th edition of the Cricket World Cup, a quadrennial one-day international cricket tournament (ODI) contested by men’s national teams and organized by the International Cricket Council (ICC). It is scheduled to take place in India from October 5 to November 19, 2023. It was originally scheduled to take place from February to March 2023, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ten teams will take part in the tournament, including the 2019 defending champions England. It will be the first men’s Cricket World Cup hosted solely by India, which along with other countries from the Indian subcontinent co-hosted the event in 1987, 1996 and 2011.
The final is scheduled to be played at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on November 19, 2023. Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai and Eden Gardens, Kolkata will host the two semi-finals.
